Waterfront Restaurant (808) 244-9028
This 5 star experience is located in the Milowai Condominium, which is the 3rd complex on the street. Sitting oceanfront just a stone’s throw from the water’s edge, you can enjoy one of their many fresh fish served nightly prepared your choice of the many offered. In otherwards, mix & match.

After gorging on a fabulous gourmet meal, make sure you try one of their homemade desserts. My favorite is the Macadamia Nut Cream Pie! Mmmmmmmm! Parking is limited in the upper deck of the Milowai parking lot and all available spaces are marked ‘Restaurant’ so if you’re staying in Ma’alaea you may want to consider a stroll. It’s also a good way to work off the cheesecake later!

Buzz's Wharf Restaurant (808) 875-8472
A landmark in Ma’alaea. You’ll see it by the blue tile roof. Centrally located, open air dining in a rustic atmosphere with huge windows opened to the Harbor. Serving burgers, salads, pupus, fresh fish & steaks. Try their steamed clams & caesar for lunch & their fabulous Tahitian prawns with a baked potato for dinner. Very popular for the passing tourists as they wobbily disembark from their morning snorkel trip.

The Blue Marlin
Casual open air dining for lunch & dinner. Serving a variety of fish caught fresh off the boats! Also burgers, salads, pasta, pupus, seafood. Try the fresh oyster shooters in your choice of sauces. The fish & chips is made fresh daily and actually melts in your mouth! Coolest bar around. Ambience is fantastic with rock walls dripping with tiny waterfalls, memorablia of the old fishing days, a giant Marlin mounted on the wall and lots of plants. Oceanfront seating overlooking the harbor’s daily activities. This restaurant can get pretty busy around lunch time.

Bamboo Bistro
Serving Hawaii Regional Cuisine, the Bistro was voted ‘Best New Restaurant, Restaurant of Distinction’ by Honolulu Magazine & ‘A magnet for foodies’ by the New York Times. Fresh fish, steak, chicken, ribs, pastas, salads and very unique appetizers. I particularly like the atmosphere in the evening with the tiki torches lit overlooking a still and tranquil Ma’alaea Harbor. Very reasonably priced for lunch or dinner.

Jimmy's Store (a.k.a. "Jimmy Ono's" and "Ma'alaea Store")
O.K., so it's not a "restaurant", but it does have snacks and sodas, and what I think are the best Hawaiian hot dogs on the island! Located directly across from the Coast Guard station, Jimmy's also takes care of the fisherman with tons of tackle & supplies. I believe Jimmy’s is the basis for Ma’alaea Village. Family owned & operated & always happy to share in the Aloha spirit with a smile & a kind word.

Ma'alaea Seascape Restaurant
Located within the Maui Ocean Center, Maalaea Seascape restaurant is fairly upscale. The food and the view are exceptional and if you're looking to entertain a group for lunch, this is an excellent choice.

The restaurant's open daily from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. Access to the restaurant is available without admission to the Aquarium through the side entrance near Maalaea Harbor Village Shopping Center.

Fine Italian dining. Located upstairs in the Maui Ocean Center across from Hula Cookies. Looks neat inside. This restaurant's only been open a short time so I haven’t tried it out yet.

Tradewinds Mart & Deli
The deli is located in the Ma’alaea Mermaid, the first complex on the street. Best deli sandwiches around! Also jumbo hotdogs, variety of deli items, sundries, movie rentals, boggie board, snorkel & underwater camera rentals. Open 9am – 9pm. Stop in & say hi to Mike & Jayne!
